A Very Funny View on Perspectives

I’ve been busier than normal lately, beeboppin’ around from project to project.

High school graduation, college orientation, summer visitors. All good stuff. But when I go from this to that it’s hard for me to keep up with my thoughts.

As I wrote that I wondered, “Maybe that’s not such a bad thing!” :-)

But there’s so much I want to tell you, so much that has happened, so much that I have come to realize and learn in these past nine, rollercoaster months of my life.

I will get to it all. I will.

But today, before I run off to do several things before work, let me share this video I was lucky enough to find.

First, it’s funny. And well, it’s Monday and I mean really, is there not a better way to start off the week than with something that will make you laugh.

there’s also a message on perspectives in this skit.

I hope you watch, enjoy and have a terrific day!

Hi, I'm Charlotte and armed with the experience 24 years of marriage, 2 kids, 2 dogs, 8 homes and a closet full of power tools brings, I come here to share how the processes of raising my kids and transforming my home raised and transformed me.

    • And therein lies the lesson on perspectives. I never, ever thought to look at the names Jacqueline, Blake, Denise, and Aaron the way they are looked at by the substitute, because I see them from the perspective I have always known, but when looked at a different way, those same names become something (at least to me) very different, something that never crossed my mind. Glad you got a laugh, and don’t feel bad, feel enlightened. :-)

      • I have an ongoing challenge to understand that somebody’s *different* perspective is not a *wrong* perspective.

      • I think it is probably safe to say that most people are challenged in this very way. And how wonderful it is to be able to express and share these challenges in a comedy sketch where such a point can be made in a way that doesn’t make people defensive and thus allows the message can be more readily received. Your comments are spot on Kylie. :-)

  1. Laughed so hard I cried! Oh my…..that is hilarious! :) Can’t wait to share this with my son-in-law, he’s a teacher :)

    • The video is a great rebound from the depressing cartoon I used in Fleeting! I’m baaaacccckkkk! Go positiveness!!! :-)

p.s. I recommend no food or water in your mouth when watching this!!! :-)

    • It is hilarious, isn’t it. We have a friend named Blake and now my whole family calls him Bee- la- Kay because of this video!!! So glad you watched and enjoyed! :-)
